Our company is deeply committed to responsible practices and has been since our beginning. Therefore, we celebrate Earth Day this April 22nd in recognition of the urgency of this moment, a moment that demands our attention and decisive action. Read on to hear about what Plantiva is committed to doing for our Mother Earth.
We prioritize sourcing from sustainable growers who do not use chemical pesticides or fertilizers.
For extraction of our formulas, we use only natural solvents such as water and ethanol, and never harsh synthetic chemicals.
We organize our staffing and work environments to minimize vehicular commuting; our total vehicular commuting across all locations and all employees averages less than 10 miles per day.
Our Oregon office runs on solar energy.
We use biodegradable packing peanuts for our consumer shipments. They dissolve in water; try it at home!
We use glass bottles that are 100% recyclable, even in today’s severely limited recycling environment.
We reuse nearly 100% of the cardboard packing materials we receive with our shipments. Reuse is even better than recycling!
