This Earth Day, We're Donating 10% of Website Sales to the Bee Girl Organization

Here at Plantiva we're committed to helping the planet! Whether it's reducing plastic use, recycling and reusing daily materials, planting native plants or relying on solar energy, we make a difference wherever we can.

This year we're going even farther with a number of charity donations. For Earth Day, we'll be donating 10% of all our website sales to the Bee Girl Organization in Southern Oregon. This amazing nonprofit is doing wonderful work to support bee habitat conservation from Oregon through the Great Basin and into Montana and the Great Plains.

Bees are vital pollinators not only for natural ecosystems but also for our own food production. And while commercial honeybee numbers have stabilized in recent years, populations of native bees remain threatened by habitat destruction and other factors.

Many native bees are highly specialized, meaning they rely on particular plants as their food source. When those plant populations decrease, many of the bees starve - and with fewer bees around, the plants that rely on them for pollination can also die out. It's a vicious circle.

That's why the Bee Girl Organization's work is so critical. We couldn't be more happy to support them in their mission!
